On this baroque-themed walking tour of Rome’s historical center, you will visit the city’s most famous historical monuments and its classical squares and fountains: admire baroque works by Bernini and Caravaggio at Piazza Navona and it’s stunning fountain of the Four Rivers make a stop in Piazza di Spagna to admire Bernini fountain and the famous Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo, the Pantheon, Piazza del Parlamento, Piazza Colonna, Fontana di Trevi and its very impressive underground archeological site (Vicus caprarius), the so called the “City of Water”. 

At a few paces from one of the most eminent works of art in the world, at more than nine meters in depth respect to the current road level, the archaeological surveys carried out between 1999 and 2001 brought to light a building complex from the imperial age representing the ancient Rome’s urban fabric. In this intricate labyrinth you can have an understanding of the three different age-old stratifications of Rome and observe the archeological testimony of the great events of the city
