Private Jewish tours and kosher travel across Italy

I am Irit Levy. For ten years I ran communications and events for the Jewish Museum of Rome. Now I design private Jewish and kosher trips across Italy — guides certified by the Jewish Community, kosher meals, synagogue access, transfers, tickets and Bar Mitzvah ceremonies.

One person arranges the whole week, from your arrival to your departure. Not a booking platform, and not a package.

… We were connected to Irit, and she was so helpful! She assisted us with Jewish tours, a place to stay, and even a car service to the airport. Thanks so much Irit!

Why people write to me instead of booking online

Because the details that make a Jewish journey through Italy run smoothly often require local knowledge and coordination. Planning visits around synagogue opening hours, arranging access to special sites, coordinating kosher dining for groups, or tailoring an itinerary to Shabbat and Jewish holidays all benefit from someone who knows the local community.

Over the past ten years I have built relationships with synagogue offices, certified guides, kosher restaurants and caterers, and trusted local partners. Those relationships help turn a good itinerary into a seamless experience.

How it works

No forms to fill in triplicate, and nothing charged before you know what you are getting.

STEP ONE

You tell me the shape of it

Your dates, how many of you are travelling, which cities, and how you keep kosher and Shabbat. Approximate is fine.

STEP TWO

I send back an itinerary

A real day-by-day plan with what is possible on your dates, checked against the Jewish calendar and against what actually has availability. You change it until it fits.

STEP THREE

I hold it together while you travel

Guides, tickets, transfers, meals and any change of plan go through me. You have one phone number for the whole week.

Luxury is the chance to see the beauty closer than anyone else.

A synagogue entered with someone the community trusts. A catacomb that needed a permit obtained weeks earlier. A Shabbat table laid in the apartment where you are staying.

See what that looks like

Tell me your dates

Even approximate ones. The synagogue calendar, the kosher caterers and the catacomb permits are the three things that run out first — the earlier we talk, the more of the week is genuinely yours to choose.
